What We've Learned Working Across Erith
New developments at Thamesmead and Erith Waterfront use modern construction methods
Access & logistics: Most Bexley properties have driveways or nearby street parking, making access straightforward. For properties on main roads, we discuss delivery logistics during the survey.
Seasonal tip: Properties near the Thames at Erith and Belvedere should consider flood-resistant materials for ground-floor installations. We can advise on resilient flooring options that withstand moisture.
Common Considerations for Bexley Properties
- Concrete panel construction in post-war housing requiring SDS drilling and heavy-duty fixings
- Bay windows in 1930s semis creating challenging angles for flooring and skirting
- Asbestos considerations in some older properties — we advise on testing before disturbing textured coatings
