Local Knowledge — Working in Forest Hill
Lewisham's Victorian terraces — especially around Lee, Hither Green, and Brockley — have classic layouts with alcoves, picture rails, and bay windows perfect for fitted storage
Access & logistics: South East London traffic can be challenging. We plan arrival and delivery times around peak hours and always confirm parking arrangements with customers in advance.
Seasonal tip: Brockley and Sydenham Hill are among the hilliest parts of South London, creating microclimates in gardens. North-facing gardens may need additional consideration for garden room positioning and natural light.
Common Considerations for Lewisham Properties
- Victorian terraces with fireplaces and alcoves — great for built-in shelving but needing careful measurement around chimney breasts
- Narrow hallways in terraced houses requiring space-efficient storage solutions
- Flats above shops on high streets with access and noise considerations
Forest Hill's position near Hilly Fields gives it a distinctive character, and the homes here reflect that. We tailor our kitchen fitting approach to suit — drawing on years of experience working in this exact area.
