How a Typical Project in Kemsing Runs
We keep decking installation work in Kemsing predictable. These are the stages your job will go through:
- 1
Garden Survey
We visit your garden, assess the ground conditions, and discuss your requirements — size, shape, levels, and material preference. On decking installation jobs in Kemsing this is where most of the questions get answered.
- 2
Decking Design
We create a design including dimensions, board direction, step positions, and any additional features like lighting or balustrades. Materials are checked against the Kemsing quote before this stage starts.
- 3
Ground Preparation
The area is cleared, levelled, and prepared with a weed membrane. Concrete pads or adjustable pedestals are positioned for the framework. Older Kemsing properties often need extra care here, so we allow time for it.
- 4
Framework Construction
A strong, level joist framework is constructed from treated timber, with proper spacing and ventilation for long-term durability. On decking installation jobs in Kemsing this is where most of the questions get answered.
- 5
Board Laying
Decking boards are laid with consistent spacing, secured with screws or hidden clips, and trimmed neatly at all edges. This is where the detail of your decking installation in Kemsing gets pinned down.
- 6
Finishing & Extras
Steps, fascia boards, balustrades, and lighting are installed. The deck is cleaned and any staining or oiling is applied. Older Kemsing properties often need extra care here, so we allow time for it.
Access and parking in Kemsing are agreed before we start, so nothing stalls mid-job.
