Why Purley Properties Are Different
Croydon's town centre has undergone major regeneration, with high-rise apartments and modern developments alongside Victorian terraces
Access & logistics: Croydon's one-way systems and tram routes require careful navigation. We plan routes in advance and use side streets for larger vehicle access where possible.
Seasonal tip: Properties on the chalk downland at the south of the borough drain well but can experience cold snaps earlier than the lower-lying areas. We factor this into material acclimatisation times for flooring.
Common Considerations for Croydon Properties
- Mix of modern apartments (lightweight walls) and period houses (solid walls) requiring different approaches
- High-rise apartments with limited lift access for large materials like flooring and kitchen units
- Properties on chalk at Kenley and Coulsdon with different moisture characteristics than clay areas
Properties near the A23 / M23 junction and across Purley share certain characteristics we've learned to anticipate. That local insight means fewer surprises during your tv wall units project — and a smoother experience for you.

FAQs From Real Customers
Will tv wall units suit an older property in Purley?
A lot of Purley housing is 1930s detached and Edwardian villa, where walls are rarely square and floors rarely level. We scribe and pack rather than force a fit, which is why tv wall units in older CR8 homes needs measuring on site rather than ordering off a plan.
What does a tv wall units quote for Purley include?
Labour, materials, fixings, waste removal and VAT where it applies, all itemised. We price Purley jobs after seeing the property, so the figure accounts for access, parking around CR8 and the condition of what is already there.
Can you hide all the cables behind the wall in Purley?
Yes — we route HDMI, power, and aerial cables through the wall cavity so nothing is visible. The result is a completely clean, wire-free look around your TV.
How much weight can a TV wall unit support in Purley?
Our wall units are built with heavy-duty brackets and reinforced frameworks. We can safely mount TVs up to 85 inches and 50kg+, along with soundbars and gaming consoles.
Can you match the unit to my existing furniture in Purley?
Absolutely. We build bespoke units to match your room's colour scheme, style, and proportions — from contemporary high-gloss to classic painted timber.
